AlphaWorld was a precursor to the modern on-line Virtual Reality experience that we have come to know and love through applications like VRChat. This is one person’s documented experience of what AlphaWorld was capable of and what it had to offer.
RobertWK’s Review: The world is low on interactivity, but offers a fascinating glimpse into the past of Virtual Reality experiences. The preservation of the architecture and experience is worth a visit to see what VR looked like in its potential commercial infancy. (Rating: 7)
Katchy’s Review: I love this one solely because it reminded me of playing ActiveWorlds in the 90s. It’s super jank – just like ActiveWorlds! (Rating: 7.5)
