Bug Catching Simulator is a scavenger hunt for bugs in a public park.

RobertWK’s Review: Bug Catching Simulator is another scavenger hunt world that also looks great and works well. The environment has a park feel and there are a wide variety of bugs to capture. There aren’t too many insect-focused worlds in VRChat that also aren’t horror based or jumpscare centric. It’s nice that this one exists for people who want to explore insects but don’t want to do so in those kinds of environments. The bugs are modeled well and you can spend quite a bit of time trying to collect them all. (Rating: 8.5)

Katchy’s Review:

Bug Catching Simulator is quite enjoyable and engaging. You do what the title suggests: catch bugs! You’re given a net and must wander a park looking for different species. Each one you catch gets added to a small museum of sorts so you can keep track of what remains. There are a few that only appear under certain conditions (think about this: how do you get ants to appear?) and they all have similar behaviors and sounds they make compared to their real world counterparts. If you want to do something light and playful, this is the perfect opportunity.
