SANRIO Vfes MOCHIPOLY FACTORY

The Sanrio VFes Mochipoly Factory is a rhythm game style world presented during Sanrio VFES 2024.

RobertWK’s Review:

Typically we only review worlds created by individual creators/teams for the benefit of themselves and the VRChat platform, but SANRIO Mochipoly Factory is an entertaining rhythm game experience that is suitable for all audiences.

It is clear that this world was professionally made to represent SANRIO and its brand, and to that it succeeds. The “stages” are challenging and fun, even though I am terrible at rhythm games. Latency is a little bit of an issue and so some anticipation is required in order to get the maximum rank at each point. The different challenges within the factory are all connected together as a part of a larger system, which adds a level of strategy to playing so that it’s not just an unconnected series of mini-games.

Overall the world is very well made and even if you don’t attend any of the events during Vfes or buy a ticket for the live shows, this one is worth checking out with a few friends.

Katchy’s Review: I didn’t think we’d be reviewing a product of a corporation, but here we are! Mochipoly Factory is an exciting rhythm game where the goal is to fire up all the parts of the factory, with each piece adding an instrument to the overall music of the world culminating in a rather silly dance party at the end. If you’re looking for something fun to play with friends, this world won’t disappoint, but be wary that those not used to rhythm games might have a tough time getting all the factory parts activated. (Rating: 8)
