Sushi Aquarium 淡水棟 is one of two aquatic life museums made in collaboration that strongly resemble a real life aquarium with fine details.

  • RobertWK’s Review:

Both versions of Sushi Aquarium have similar and differing features that make each one stand out. Each feature aquatic life that are textured and animated well, making them somewhat realistic. Both also have strong museum aesthetics: the carpet and the lighting are exactly appropriate for an aquarium; art and placards resemble something you’d see in real life; the overall architecture is well thought out and likely takes inspiration from real-life locations. There is nothing “off” about any of the tanks; the included plant life, masonry, and water textures do an amazing job of simulating the aquarium experience.

This version, Sushi Aquarium 淡水棟, features life from North America, Southeast Asia, the Amazon River, and Africa. It has individual and communal tanks, as well as large tanks that can be viewed from below and above.

f you’re into visiting virtual museums and exhibits, then make sure to include this amongst the ones you visit.

  • Katchy’s Review: This freshwater aquarium is fantastic! All of the fish animations are spot on and look realistic, and the environment is well-designed. Even the carpets look like something you’d see in an aquarium. Make sure to check out Sushi Aquarium 海洋棟 as well for the saltwater variant. (Rating: 8.5)
