Rooms 4 Dayz is a multi-room exploration world with unique themes and functions in every location.

  • RobertWK’s Review:

Rooms 4 Dayz is shaping up to be one of the best worlds in VRChat. That might seem like a bold statement, but visit the world and consider these points:

    • There is a lot of planned content, with a general specific style. There are already 68 different rooms to visit.
    • There is an overarching game, and other smaller micro-games such as a farming simulator in one of the rooms.
    • Eventually there will be 125 different rooms to visit within the world.
    • Each room has very specific technical limitations in order for the world to run well. The world has a well defined scope.
    • Since the world’s launch, the creator has updated the world just about every Friday, consistently.
    • Each room has a fair amount of detail that provides atmospheric depth, even the goofy ones.
    • Some of the rooms exploit the terrors in a very effective way (no spoilers.)
    • There is going to be a whole phase two for the project after the rooms are done.

Aside from the eventual release of CUBES 2 from pk, this world is shaping up to be an incredible variety of content. Rooms 4 Dayz is on par with PolyWorld in terms of style and range of things to do and see. If you like worlds that have a lot of varied content, then Rooms 4 Dayz should not be one you pass up on.

This is one to keep an eye on and I’m excited for the eventual goal of whatever phase two will be for it.

  • Katchy’s Review:

The idea of a world with different biomes/rooms isn’t completely original to Rooms 4 Dayz, but it does do a lot that others like it don’t do as well. There is an abundance of variety, and the rooms sometimes have small puzzles to solve or games to play. It’s all the more fresh every time you get to a new area. The world also keeps track of your progress so that you can teleport to previously visited areas, which is a nice touch. There is a great concept here, and it’s nice to see a world that’s constantly being built on as opposed to the perpetually-in-progress ones like the many we see.
