Terra Cotta Valley is an artistic scavanger hunt through a liminal and sculpted world.
RobertWK’s Review: Terra Cotta Valley came out in November, and unfortunately this is one of those locations where the thumbnail doesn’t do the world justice. Not only is there a scavenger hunt to take part in, but there is a lot of mysterious and unusual architecture to see. The world contains unusual twists and turns and paths that just aren’t seen in VRChat very much. In some ways this world reminds me of elements of ‘The Neverhood”, a claymation/plasticine point and click adventure game from 1996. If you haven’t checked it out yet and you’re into modern art and architecture, then be sure to give this place a visit. (Rating: 8)
Katchy’s Review:
This world gives me big vibes of Myst: Uru combined with The Neverhood with its outlandish features, which is a good feeling. What makes an exploration world even better is when you give the player something to do, and Terra Cotta Valley doesn’t disappoint with numerous collectibles. The weirdly alien locale is a joy to explore and there are plenty of nooks and crannies to get lost in.
