Instagib Tournament

Do you remember Unreal Tournament when it was new? How about using the shock rifle to instagib your opponents in an intense and fast PvP match? Well if you want that same explosive and heart-pounding action then Instagib Tournament is for you!

I.T. has seen a few updates since its launch, and it’s not just a world for human players. Bots can be enabled and actually present a little bit of a challenge; you can definitely lose to them in a match (assuming that you’re not the Alpha and the Omega of instagib.) Of note is that there is also an explanation for how hits are registered in the world, which helps to manage expectations about whether a shot is “bullshit” or not. Currently it has one map and one game mode, but there is a test world out there that has a secondary map and additional gameplay modes such as Domination and Capture the Flag, which should be going live sometime later this year.

This is shaping up to be one of the few competitive games in VRChat, and there’s no better time to hone your skills for the future features than the present. You can also find updates on Instagib Tournament from the discord linked within the world.

Instagib Tournament is a great take on Unreal Tournament from years past, with the twist of every shot you land being an “instagib”. It’s the most fun when it’s with a large group of people, though there are bots to play with if you only have a few people to play with. Not much else to say about this one, it’s just a lot of fun.
